Being The Journeyer

Years ago, there was a TV commercial about hair replacement and restoration for men, where the owner, Sy Sperling, famously quipped “I’m not only the Hair Club president, but I’m also a client”. The success of his business, in part, was due to having had direct experience of hair loss, thus able to relate to others in the same situation.

I regularly do trades with some of my fellow SMGI® practitioners, to be guided into my own inner world. I have come to realize the importance of not only guiding people, but for me to be guided as well, supporting my desire to clear any clutter and/or to connect, rescue and integrate parts of me. It’s also an invaluable opportunity to have a more well-rounded experience of guiding others, and to be in a place where I can have a felt sense of knowing what it’s like to be guided.

I recently asked one of the local SMGI® practitioners to guide me in a session, where I had a profound revelation that helped to dissolve some issues I was having internally. I’m forever grateful for having other practitioners available, and being able to do the same for them. When we support each other, we support others. Not a bad way to be in community!
