Noticing Clues on the Path

Do you believe in miracles? Are there instances where you meet the right people at the right time in the right place that presents an opportunity to shift into a new way of being? Have you ever experienced a book falling off the bookstore shelf in front of you, and it’s exactly the book you were looking for?

A few months ago, before I hopped into my car to go to hike on one of my favorite trailheads. I got a hit to look down on the ground, and in front of the car door, I saw this:

The mysterious '“J”

“J”, of course, is the initial of my first name. Now, you may think that this is just a coincidence, or that somebody, who knows that I have a Honda Element and knows where I live, played this practical joke by placing these twigs into a “J”. Those chances are pretty slim. I call this synchronicity, and I always pay attention when it shows up.

Later, on the trail, I came across something unusual and seemingly out of place:

Someone left this artwork on the trail, for all to enjoy. The next time I passed by this spot, the painting had vanished.

When I explored what logo I was going to use for Inner World Journeys, it became obvious to me that the image from this painting was it! A perfect symbol of the heart-based work of SMGI® and a miracle gift to me!

The more of this work I do as an SMGI® Guide, both as a guide and a journeyer, the more I pay attention to the little messages that come my way. They may not make any sense at the time, and they are perhaps a time capsule to be opened later. Regardless, clues are available, if you choose to follow them to what they lead to. What synchronicities have you noticed and acknowledged?
